How difficult can it be to terminate an internet account? Good thing this guy had the sense to TAPE the phone conversation. I found this almost too painful to listen to as it brought some very unwelcome flashbacks from my AOL nightmare – which ended with my then new laptop becoming terminally ill ( I can't prove the connection of course, but all my trouble started when I installed AOL on it...), and me being forced to pay AOL for the remaining six months of the contract despite not having a PC anymore.
